‘Funny Girl’ to return to UK cinemas for anniversary screenings

🦋 The filmed version of the award-winning revival of Funny Girl is heading to cinemas across the UK and Ireland again to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the show and offering audiences another chance to see Darius in one of his most charismatic stage performances.

Darius starred as the suave, complex gambler Nick Arnstein, bringing elegance, depth and that unmistakable velvet voice to the role. Opposite Sheridan Smith’s Fanny Brice, he delivered a performance filled with charm, chemistry and emotional weight.

Featuring iconic songs including “Don’t Rain on My Parade”, “People” and “I’m the Greatest Star”, this cinematic release celebrates not only a beloved musical revival, but Darius’s enduring talent as a leading man in British theatre.

The production earned major recognition during its run, with nominations at the 2016 London Evening Standard Theatre Awards, and was widely praised for its powerhouse performances.

Screenings begin from 30 April at cinemas including Vue, Odeon, Showcase, Light and Savoy, as well as independent venues across the UK and Ireland. ❤️
