On 1st September 2003 Darius released 'Sink Or Swim' a book which told the story of his rise to fame in his own words.

The book charted at No.6 in the Sunday Times Best Sellers List, which is the UK's definitive book sales chart, and added best selling author to Darius' long list of talents.

 

The book tells the story of Darius' life from 2001 to 2003 when he was thrust into the media spotlight and the public eye following his appearances on the TV talent shows 'Popstars' and 'Pop Idol'.

In the book Darius reveals what really went on behind the scenes of both shows and also shares some private moments about how he coped with the sudden press attention.  It was a period of time when he went from university student to one of the most popular music artists in the UK.

It also looks at how he went on to achieve his dreams of achieving a No.1 single with his debut release 'Colourblind' and a platinum selling album with 'Dive In'.

The book gives a true insight into a hugely talented, courageous and charismatic artist, at a time when his career trajectory was just beginning. This is the inspirational and uplifting account of Darius' journey to achieve success on his own terms.
